This book left me very satisfied and happy at the end. I was only a little dissapointed that Alina wasn't a queen or a sun summoner. You are probably wondering why she killed Mal, well he was the third amplifier believe it or not. Only when he made her kill him she didn't get more powerful. In fact Alina lost her power, all the commoners in a certain radius became sun summoners and they all made the fold dissapear. Yay! Then Alina stabbed the Darkling (or Aleksander if you want to know). I'm no longer confused about whether I care about him because I really wasn't that sad when he died. I was more like yay! whatever. Then I moved on. I liked Alina's idea of pretending to die so her and Mal (or Dmitri Dumkin! HEHE) could live on as normal as possible. Nikolai will be a wonderful prince. I was so happy when his wings broke off from him and the darkness left him. I loved that even when he was possessed by darkness he still helped save them all.This is me and Nikolai right here...if he was real:

 If you just take the prologue of the first book and the epilogue of this book and put them together it will seem very normal and boring. You wouldn't even begin to guess any thing that happened in between.I'm sad to say goodbye to this series but I do not have to say goodbye to the Grisha world. Because Leigh said she was writing a spin-off series! 
Also this book gets a million stars for being awesome.

Ruin and Rising(halfway through review)

Well... I'm only halfway through this book and I'm already depressed. Nikolai... How could Leigh be so cruel? Why can't he just not be possessed by demons? I hate the Darkling so much... This book is majorly confusing my feelings because I hate him but every time he leans in close to Alina I think Kiss!Kiss!Kiss! then she remembers all the horrible things hes done and pulls away. But my emotions are still confused. Is it because I like it when characters play with the dark side? Does it attract me, or am I so in tune with Alina I just feel like she does? I'm going to go with the latter. I really loved learning more of Baghra's back story and the Darklings. Its fun to imagine him as a little boy. Also, BAGHRA! I'm so sad. That was a beautiful sacrafice she made to save them all :'( Anyway that's the Darkling by the way, just found this cool gif:

 Nikolai... I stopped talking about him earlier, because it was to hard. I do not believe I have ever felt this amount of grief for a fictional character who is not even dead.This fate is worse then death though. He made a fool of the Darkling and now the Darkling controls him. No one fights the Darkling and walks away without a scar. This is so hard to even type about. I was literally gasping as I read the dreaded scene. It was really hard to sleep because every time I thought his name I woke up. Nikolai was a bright handsome character who could charm the shoes off an racehorse mid stride. It sucks that he is anything less now. They need to find a way to save him because I need to see the Nikolai-Alina wedding.

I can't type about him anymore. David and Genya <3 love them. Nadia and Tamar, I knew they were meant to be the second the first flirt slid out of Tamar's lips. I must say she is a smooth talker. Nadia, well shes just as sweet. Its weird but I ship Alina with 3 people. Mal is the third not last or least. He just needs to put her against a wall and kiss her like keeps saying he wants to. Who cares if you grow old and die before she does? Just love Alina already!

I will write another entry about this book when I finish...if I live without dying from feels.

Someday I hope to write a book and direct a movie

I want to do this so I can see my stories and thoughts come to life. I would hope people would like people to read or see my work and enjoy it. Knowing that I wrote a book and got it published would make me very happy. And to possibly see a movie I helped create or direct. I believe I could create characters that people could fall in love. If neither of these dreams works out I would then like to write a song for a famous artist. Maybe sing one. Or even direct a music video. Any form of video or writing to share with the world that I could make or help make is good enough for me.

The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Finale Review

Did anyone else sob when they killed off not one, but two main characters in the season 5 finale of The Vampire Diaries?

Lets not get ahead of ourselves though, a lot happened in this episode and its best to start at the beginning. Stefan is strolling around the other side when suddenly a hole opens up and pull him towards oblivion. He flys and grabs hold of the corner of a wall. Stefan is just barely holding on when suddenly with a helping hand comes Lexi."Now I've saved you from real and metaphorical darkness. I think you owe me a beer." she exclaims. We then pan to a shot of Caroline sobbing by Stefan's corpse. The scene is fire lit and heart-breaking. Especially seeing Elena exclaim "Stefan!" and Damon's face look impossibly sad. No-one is too worried though. They have a way to bring everybody back, right? Enzo lost it though. I like the re-introduction of Silas if only for one episode. Even if he was considered 'a villain' I  really enjoyed his character. You tell Paul really liked embracing his bad boy attitude. My favorite line of his is when he inquires "How can someone so perfect be so sad all the time?" referring to Stefan, his shadow self. Lexi was also fun in this episode. She pointed out the thing we all wanted too. Caroline's not so hidden affection for Stefan. It was beautiful how she sacrificed herself in hopes Damon could come back to the land of the living. Back to the episode, Bonnie tells almost everyone the truth, there's no way to bring everyone back including herself. Meanwhile the travelers have conducted their magic stripping spell. No-one can enter Mystic falls without dying. Except for Matt and Jeremy, the only humans in the group. So they start to hatch a master plan to bring everyone back. Sheriff Forbes will lure all the travelers to the mystic grill. Then Matt and Jeremy will break a gas pipe filling it with flammable gas. Damon will take his car and drive it into the grill killing himself and all the travelers in the explosion. Caroline and Elena convinced Liv to do the spell to let everyone pass back through Bonnie in the same manner as Markos did. They did so by killing Luke so she would have to do the spell. When Elena hears about Damon's part in the plan she freaks out. Then she comes with him. It goes well after that. Everyone passes through as Liv sobs her way through the spell, including Alaric! Then its Damon turn. Luke has already passed back and can see the spell is killing her. So her whisks her away. And Damon and Bonnie are trapped on the crumbling Other-side... The goodbye between Elena and Damon is heart-breaking. It made harder by the fact she can't see our hear him. He brushes hair away from her face as she sobs. He talks about how loving her has been the epitome of the life. He couldn't have been any happier with his life, knowing she loved him. Alaric comes in and hugs her as she exclaims "He's gone, he's gone" Then we see Stefan sitting with Caroline, he is reeling after the loss of his best-friend and brother. She lays her head on his back to comfort him. Next we see Bonnie on another bench calling Jeremy. She tells him the truth, he tells her not to hang up, but she does her last words to him, "I love you Jeremy" He runs shouting her name. Just as her arrives we enter the other side with Bonnie. The world is shaking and white where there should be shadows. Damon takes her hand as they face the oncoming white light eating up the other side. She asks "Do you think it will hurt?" He answers "I don't kno-" then the flashes to white and the logo appears leaving viewers with only their tears. During all this sadness they were playing 'Wings' by Birdy in the background making it infinitely sadder. Overall I give this episode 5 stars out of 5. It was perfectly sad, romantic,and intense. I don't think could have ended the season any better.

Escape from the Real World

I like science fiction, horror, romance, and dystopian books. I don't tend to stray from these four genres.When I do I read popular realistic fiction books, such as Wonder or Star Girl. I like these genres so much because they are an escape from the real world. That is mainly why I like to read, so I can immerse myself in another reality, live another life.There is a quote I like:

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one.”

I think this is very accurate. Seeing this quote is what really made me realize why I live reading so much. When life is to hard and I just want a break, reading is my escape. Not that I don't read because I love it! If the books good and I want to what happens next I'll read. As I already said that is not the main reason though.Go on, escape!
Why do you read?

July 29!?!

Okay, Silver Shadows doesn't come out until July 29th. WHAT?????????????? I CANNOT wait this long!

I must know what happens to Sydney now! What about Adrian? He can not lie about his feelings for her anymore! He needs to tell Lissa and Rose about them. Lissa will help him and Rose would be happy for him. Why can't he see that? What if he starts self-medicating again because he misses her. No, he has to stay clear-headed. How else will he use spirit to reach Sydney?

Will Sydney really be brainwashed? Will the re-inking work on her? When they rescue her, not if, she better still love Adrian. If she doesn't love Adrian I'm giving up. I'm never going to read Richelle Mead's writing again.I wouldn't trust her with my feelings again. But seriously, there is a whole month until I can enter that world again? This is my letter to Richelle Mead:

Dear Richelle Mead,

Please don't break my heart. Don't kill my favorite character. Give me a somewhat happy ending. Then I will keep reading your work.
